The Lagos State Fire Service says it has recouped the assemblages of two individuals including a sexagenarian and customary boss from two wells in the state.

The executive of the administration, Mr Rasaq Fadipe, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday that the episodes happened at Idimu in Alimosho range of Lagos and Imota.

He gave the names of the dead as 63-year-old Otunba Adeoye Lasisi and

50-year-old Amoke Adeokun.

The chief said Lasisi, an outwardly weakened, was recouped from a well of around 120 feet at No. 16, Ayayo Road, Imota, while Adedokun's body, a man accepted to be unhinged, was found in a well at No. 5, Ajilekege Street, Pipeline Bus Stop, Idimu.

As per Fadipe, Lasisi had wanted to go for treatment at a healing facility at around 4.00 a.m. prior to the debacle happened.

"The wife said she was amazed when he called her spouse to come and bathe with the boiling point water she gave that he couldn't be found. The wife guaranteed she later searched for him outside and discovered his torchlight close to the well.

"She said she trusted that, maybe, her spouse needed to get water from the well. It was then they called fire fighters at Imota. It took us around eight hours with the help of an authority in well-burrowing before we could find his body in the well.

"Fire fighters went into the well thrice without finding the body until the expert, subsequent to performing a few ceremonies, brought him out," Fadipe said.

He said that of Adedokun may have happened as an aftereffect of deserting by her kids.

"She felt deserted by her kids in her own particular building and chose to bounce into a well of around 130 feet in the compound. The body was later recouped after around 60 minutes," he said.

Fadipe said the bodies had been given over to the police and prompted inhabitants to constantly secure wells in their homes appropriately to deflect such fiascos.
