        Previous President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that he would never be a government official again in his life, pronouncing that he remains a "partyless" Nigerian and would keep on conveying the frock of a statesman.

      Obasanjo expressed this yesterday while facilitating Kogi State representative, Capt. Idris Wada, at his home in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

Obasanjo was the previous Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to which wada has a place.

The previous President said regardless of his not playing dynamic factional governmental issues any longer, he would keep on working with any Nigerian with great goal and administration characteristics.

He said "Everyone is welcome however they must be with great administration attributes, and honest to goodness goal to enhance the nation.

"We ought to see first that, not the gathering makes the individual, but rather the individual makes the gathering. It is the sort of person you are that you bring into the gathering. However, for the time being I remain a "partyless" Nigerian, be that as it may, I will keep on respecting any Nigerian with great initiative qualities.

"It doesn't make a difference which party you are, either, PDP, APC, Labor, APGA any gathering by any means, the length of you an are submitted, earnest and an intentional pioneer, I am prepared for you. Furthermore, that is the thing that our sibling is doing. I ask that this nation will never be shy of this sort of individuals," Obasanjo said.

Responding, Wada disclosed that the visit to Obasanjo was going ahead the heels of his late recompense as the best representative in the nation that occurred in Lagos, saying, "Since we were regarded as the best senator yesterday in Lagos, we esteem it fitting to come down to Abeokuta to answer to our dad, the little acknowledgment we got.
